London, July 4 (ANI): Rihanna's father has given his blessing to her and Chris Brown to rekindle their relationship.

Despite the fact that Brown pleaded guilty to assaulting the 'Umbrella' hitmaker in 2009 - with the violent attack leaving her with horrific injuries - Ronald Fenty thinks that 'Turn Up The Music' singer has matured and the pair should forget their abusive past.

Chris has matured a lot. I think everybody has to put the past behind them. And they seem to have done that. Being a couple is all up to her, the Mirror quoted him as telling Britain's Grazia magazine.

Fenty hoped that the former couple, who are rumoured to be spending a lot of time together in New York, will get back together.

Every decision is her decision. I just wish her the best. I hope things will work out, he said.

Everyone is entitled to make a mistake.

Her fans are hoping it will happen. They see them as a perfect couple, he added. (ANI)
