Emma Thompson criticises son's 'racist' university

London, Nov 7 (ANI): Brit actress Emma Thompson has said that historic city Exeter in Devon is a place where BNP leader Nick Griffin would feel very comfortable in as it has so few black faces.

Thompson, 50, revealed that her adopted son, Rwandan-born Tindyebwa Agaba, known to the family as 'Tindy', had a rough time as a student at Exeter University and was subjected to racist taunts.

The actress, who instigated a cultural awareness campaign on campus based on the experience, aimed at promoting racial equality.

And in a lecture she gave on November 5, titled All Africans Now, she reflected on Griffin's complaint that the audience for his recent appearance on Question Time was drawn from ethnically cleansed London, a city that is no longer British.

He'd love Exeter. He would feel very comfortable here, the Telegraph quoted her as saying. (ANI)
