London, Nov 6 (ANI): Chris Brown has admitted that 'anger' drove him to hit his former girlfriend R and B singer Rihanna.

In an MTV interview, the singer was asked what drove him towards the violent assault, reports the Mirror

He replied: Just anger. Yeah, anger. Young people, we do before we think.

Brown was arrested after attacking the Umbrella singer on the way home from a showbiz party earlier this year.

While describing his emotions for the first time since the attack, the 20-year-old reportedly said: My thoughts are like, 'Why did it happen?' Like, 'What was I thinking? What is wrong with you?' That's what I'm thinking with myself. That's what my thoughts are, basically, now. (ANI)
