London, October 31 (ANI): Michael Jackson is worth more dead than he was alive, his father Joe has said in an interview on US TV.

The 80-year-old made the shocking revelation on the Extra programme, but quickly added: But I'd rather have him alive.

I cry when I'm off to myself and I start thinking about things we went through, the Mirror quoted him as telling the programme.

The dad-of-10 was often the subject of his son Michael's troubled childhood.
